The French Heuliez Group is specialized in the turnkey development and production of niche vehicles, derivates and Body In White modules.

The Advanced Engineering Team of Heuliez is constantly researching creative and new Body In White technologies and innovative concepts for seat systems, doors and Retractable HardTops (RHT) and has to this day registered over 200 patents in this field.

The most recent reference in the field of "plug & play" BIW-modules is the off-line manufacturing of the fully functional, already painted Retractable Hardtop module of the Peugeot 206 Coupe Convertible. Since the Start of Production of this vehicle in September 2000 more than 360,000 units have already been produced at Heuliez.

Since June 2004 Heuliez is producing the complete Opel Tigra TwinTop 2-seater Roadster entirely engineered by Heuliez, equipped with a Retractable Hardtop and produced at a rate of 200 vehicles/day.

Heuliez is also manufacturing the complete functional rear seat structure of the new Renault Modus. This modular rear seat structure has been entirely engineered at the Heuliez R&D Center in France .
